This Columbia Rugged Ridge Sherpa Fleece Jacket is designed for adults seeking a warm, versatile, and sustainable layering piece for both urban and outdoor activities. Its primary benefit is exceptional warmth and comfort thanks to its sherpa fleece construction and thoughtful design features. A potential consideration is that while versatile, its specific aesthetic may not suit all personal styles. Key features include its construction from 100% recycled polyester, a full-zip design, zippered pockets for secure storage, and stretch binding for a snug fit.

No, this jacket is made of fleece and is not waterproof. It is designed for warmth and comfort, and for protection against rain, an outer waterproof shell would be needed.
Using recycled polyester contributes to sustainability by reducing waste and the need for virgin materials, while still providing the warmth and durability expected from polyester fleece.
The jacket has a center back length of 28.0 inches (71.1 cm). Refer to general sizing charts for Columbia apparel or measure yourself for chest, waist, and hip circumference to ensure the best fit.
It is highly versatile. In colder climates, it serves as an excellent mid-layer. In milder seasons or climates, it can function as a comfortable outer layer.
Yes, the chest and hand pockets are zippered, providing secure storage for your belongings.
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only if needed. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly. Do not iron or dry clean.
Sherpa fleece is a type of synthetic fleece known for its soft, fuzzy texture that mimics the look and feel of sheep's wool (sherpa). It's very effective at trapping heat.
Ensure you are tumble drying on low heat and removing promptly. Avoid ironing, as heat can damage the fleece fibers.
Gently pull the zipper up and down. You can try rubbing a graphite pencil tip along the zipper teeth or using a small amount of wax or lip balm on the teeth to help it slide more smoothly.
Pilling can occur with regular wear. You can use a fabric shaver or a sweater comb to gently remove any small pills that form.
Always wash with like colors and use cold water. Avoid excessive sun exposure when drying if possible.
This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear out of the package. Its primary compatibility is as an apparel item for adult unisex wear.
