Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Try On: When first receiving your cleats, try them on with the type of socks you typically wear for soccer. Ensure a snug, comfortable fit without excessive pressure points.
- Break-In: Like most high-performance athletic footwear, these cleats may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before full-intensity matches to allow them to mold to your foot.
- Lacing: Experiment with lacing patterns to achieve the most secure and comfortable fit for your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These cleats are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means natural grass pitches that are dry and relatively hard. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or soft/wet natural ground (SG) can compromise performance, durability, and may void potential warranties.
- User: Designed for adult male soccer players.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the life and performance of your cleats:
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, especially in muddy conditions, remove excess dirt and debris from the upper and outsole using a soft brush or cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Wipe Down: Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Do not submerge the cleats in water.
- Drying: Allow cleats to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or artificial heat sources, which can damage materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store your cleats in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Using a cleat bag can protect them during transport.
- Insole Care: Remove insoles periodically to air them out, which helps prevent odor and mildew.
