Troubleshooting

Run ring is not releasing properly in semi-fixed mode

Check that the swivel is not jammed too tightly into the bead; ensure no debris is trapped in the release housing.

The setup is tangling during the cast

Ensure the lead is hanging vertically and that you are using the correct length of anti-tangle tubing or a lead-safe clip setup.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the kit, thread your main line through the run ring sleeve and then through the bead. The long tapered top should be positioned facing toward the rod tip to protect the knot and guide the components. Ensure the swivel is properly aligned within the bead housing for optimal movement. This kit is fully compatible with all types of leader material and standard fishing tubing. To care for your system, rinse all components in freshwater after fishing in salt or brackish water, and store the spare components in the provided packet to prevent the silicone sleeves from drying out or becoming brittle due to direct sunlight exposure.
