Product Information
Full details
The Béaba Silicone Meal Set is an ideal solution for parents seeking to encourage independence in toddlers learning to self-feed. This 4-piece set provides a stable, safe, and durable dining experience through its suction-based design and ergonomic accessories. While the suction strength is effective on smooth surfaces, it may be less reliable on textured highchair trays or wooden tables.

FAQs
Is the silicone used safe for my baby?
Yes, it is constructed from high-quality food-grade silicone that is strictly BPA, PVC, and phthalate-free.
Can I put the plate in the microwave?
Yes, all pieces in the set are microwave safe.
What is the best way to clean the set?
The set is dishwasher safe. For the best longevity, place items on the top rack.
Does the suction work on wooden tables?
Suction is typically most effective on smooth, non-porous, and sealed surfaces. It may not stick well to raw or textured wood.
Is the spoon safe for a toddler to use independently?
Yes, the spoon is designed as a second-stage tool with an ergonomic shape to support small hands and developing motor skills.
Troubleshooting
Suction base will not stick to the highchair.
Ensure both the bottom of the bowl and the surface are clean, dry, and free of food residue. Avoid surfaces with texture or wood grain.
Silicone has a soapy taste.
Rinse thoroughly with hot water after washing or soak in a mixture of water and white vinegar for 15 minutes to neutralize detergent buildup.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal suction, place the plate or bowl on a clean, dry surface and press down firmly in the center. If the surface is slightly damp, it can sometimes improve the seal. For maintenance, the set is dishwasher safe, though it is recommended to place components in the top rack to avoid extreme heat near the heating element. To prevent potential lingering food odors, avoid using heavy-duty soaps with strong fragrances and ensure the set is fully dried before storage. The entire set is microwave safe, making it easy to heat food directly in the bowl.
