Setup, Compatibility & Care
First-Time Use & Setup
Upon receiving your Stradivarius Basic Fitted Shirt, it's recommended to wash it before first wear to ensure optimal comfort and remove any manufacturing residues. Follow the care instructions diligently for this initial wash.
- Unpack: Carefully remove the shirt from its packaging.
- Inspect: Check for any loose threads or creases from shipping.
- Prepare for Wear: Unbutton the shirt fully to put it on. The slim fit is designed to hug the body, so take care when pulling it on.
- Buttoning: Fasten the buttons from bottom to top for a neat appearance.
Compatibility & Styling
This shirt is a highly versatile piece that pairs well with a multitude of wardrobe items:
- Bottoms: Works with tailored trousers, skirts (pencil, A-line, pleated), jeans (skinny, straight, wide-leg), and dress shorts.
- Outerwear: Can be worn under blazers, cardigans, denim jackets, leather jackets, or lightweight coats.
- Accessories: Minimalist jewelry, statement necklaces, scarves, belts, and various shoe styles (heels, flats, loafers, sneakers) can complement its simple design.
Product Care & Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your shirt. Given its material (Cotton or Polyester) and white color, specific attention to washing and drying is important.
- Washing:
- Info needed: Refer to the specific care label inside your garment for exact washing instructions.
- Generally, for Cotton: Machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent.
- Generally, for Polyester: Machine wash cold to warm with like colors. Avoid hot water to prevent shrinking or damage.
- Drying:
- Info needed: Refer to the specific care label inside your garment for exact drying instructions.
- Often, for both materials: Tumble dry low or, preferably, hang dry to prevent shrinkage and maintain shape, especially for the slim fit.
- Ironing:
- Info needed: Refer to the specific care label inside your garment for exact ironing temperature.
- For Cotton: Iron on a medium-hot setting while slightly damp, or use steam.
- For Polyester: Iron on a very low heat setting, preferably with a pressing cloth, as high heat can melt synthetic fibers.
- Storage: Hang the shirt on a good quality hanger to maintain its shape and prevent wrinkles. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
