Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the adapter is straightforward: simply plug the USB-C end into your computer and connect the VGA cable from your monitor to the adapter port. No additional software or drivers are needed on most modern operating systems.
Compatibility note: Ensure your host computer's USB-C port is labeled for video or explicitly states support for DisplayPort Alt Mode. This adapter is built for durability, but avoid sharp bends in the integrated cable to prevent internal wire strain. When not in use, store the adapter in a dry location away from extreme temperatures; it is rated for operation between 0 °C and 45 °C.
