Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove the curtains from their packaging. Lay them flat or hang them briefly to allow any initial creases to relax.
- Measure: Ensure your curtain rod extends adequately beyond the window frame to allow the curtains to fully cover the window when closed.
- Install Rod: If you don't already have one, install a curtain rod securely above your window. The eyelet header is designed for standard curtain rods.
- Hang Curtains: Simply slide the eyelets of the Hebden curtains onto your curtain rod. Alternate the direction of the first and last eyelet to ensure the curtain drapes neatly at the ends.
- Adjust: Once hung, adjust the pleats evenly across the rod to achieve your desired look.
Compatibility
These curtains are designed with an eyelet header, making them compatible with most standard curtain rods. Their classic striped pattern and neutral beige color make them highly versatile, complementing a wide range of interior design styles, including minimalist, classic, traditional, and contemporary aesthetics.
Care Instructions
Proper care will help maintain the beauty and longevity of your Yard Hebden Curtains:
- Washing: The curtains are machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water to prevent shrinkage or damage to the fabric.
- Drying: Line dry the curtains to help maintain their shape and prevent excessive creasing. Avoid tumble drying unless specifically directed, as it can cause shrinkage or damage.
- Ironing: If desired, the curtains can be ironed on a medium setting. Use steam for best results in removing wrinkles, especially after washing.
- Dry Cleaning: For an alternative cleaning method or stubborn stains, the curtains are also suitable for dry cleaning.
