Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because this is a technical garment, proper maintenance is vital to preserving its water-repellent properties. To care for your fleece, machine wash it on a cool cycle using a mild detergent designed for outdoor clothing. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can clog the fleece fibers and inhibit the water-repellent finish. Always air dry the garment; avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can degrade the elasticity of the stretch binding and damage the synthetic fibers. For best compatibility, wear this over a synthetic or wool base layer to manage moisture from the inside, and under a hardshell jacket if expecting heavy rain.
