Full details
The Belledorm Cooling Pillow - Firm is designed for side sleepers and individuals who suffer from overheating throughout the night. By combining advanced, independently tested cool-to-the-touch fabric with breathable, moisture-wicking fibers, this pillow provides an immediate cooling sensation and sustained comfort. While it excels at regulating temperature, users should be aware that its firm, structured box edge design is specifically tailored for those who prefer high-loft, supportive bedding rather than a soft or contouring feel.

FAQs
Is this pillow suitable for back sleepers?
This pillow is designed with a firm feel and box edge construction, which is primarily optimized for side sleepers. It may be too high for many back sleepers.
Does it require a special pillowcase?
While it works with standard pillowcases, a thin, natural fiber cover (like cotton) is recommended to allow the cooling technology to perform at its best.
Is the pillow machine washable?
Please check the specific care tag attached to your product. Generally, spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the shape and cooling properties.
Will the cooling effect wear off?
The fabric is engineered with cooling technology built into the material; however, keeping it clean is essential to maintain its performance.
Is the pillow hypoallergenic?
Yes, it is constructed from hypoallergenic materials, making it a safe choice for those prone to common household allergens.
Troubleshooting
Pillow feels less cool after a few weeks
Wash your pillowcase regularly to remove skin oils and residue that can block the cooling fabric from wicking moisture effectively.
Pillow feels too firm
If you are not a side sleeper, the firm density may require a short adjustment period; try placing it under your current pillow to test the height.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Delivers an immediate cooling effect upon skin contact
- Maintains structural integrity and loft thanks to the box edge design
- Excellent heat dissipation for warm sleepers
- Hypoallergenic construction is suitable for sensitive users
Cons
- Firm feel may be too rigid for stomach or back sleepers
- Cooling sensation is most effective when direct contact is made with the cover
- Larger profile may require deeper pillowcases for a perfect fit
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon unboxing, allow the pillow to regain its full shape for a few hours before use. To ensure optimal compatibility, use a breathable, thin cotton pillowcase, as thick or synthetic cases may insulate the pillow and diminish the cool-to-the-touch sensation. For care, it is recommended to spot clean the exterior when necessary. Because the pillow is designed for maximum support, it is best paired with a mattress that also supports a neutral spine alignment. Always check the manufacturer's care label for specific washing instructions to maintain the integrity of the cooling fibers.
