FAQs

Are these trainers suitable for sports?

They are designed for general daily activity and light play; they are not specialized high-performance athletic shoes.

Are these shoes machine washable?

Machine washing is not recommended as it may damage the construction and finish; spot cleaning is the best method.

How do I ensure the right fit for my child?

Measure your child's feet in the afternoon when they are at their largest and consult the UK sizing guide for the Ace Base series.

Is the material waterproof?

The trainers are water-resistant to a degree but are not intended for use in heavy rain or deep puddles.

What does 'Unisex' mean for this model?

It means the design, fit, and colorway are intentionally neutral and suitable for all children.

Troubleshooting

Shoes are scuffed after outdoor play

Gently wipe the affected area with a damp cloth or a soft-bristle brush to remove surface-level marks.

Laces coming undone frequently

Ensure a double knot is used, or consider replacing the laces with elasticized options if the child struggles with traditional knots.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Lacoste Ace Base trainers stay in peak condition:

Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals that might strip the finish.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material fading.
Lacing: Ensure laces are properly tensioned but not overtightened to maintain circulation and comfort.
Compatibility: These shoes are sized according to UK children's standards; ensure you verify the specific UK foot size before purchase for the best fit.
