Troubleshooting

Zipper is stiff or difficult to move

Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to free it. If still stiff, apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant to the teeth.

Water is soaking through the fabric

The water-repellent treatment may have diminished over time. Consider using a fabric-specific re-waterproofing spray according to the product instructions. Ensure the jacket is clean before applying.

Ruffled trim looks creased after washing

Gently reshape the ruffled trim while the garment is still damp. Avoid high heat drying, which can set creases. If necessary, iron on a low setting with the garment turned inside out.
