Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Gather the necessary tools including a drill, level, stud finder (for drywall), and mounting hardware.
- Marking: Position the brackets on the wall and mark the drilling points.
- Drilling: Drill holes at the marked points. For solid walls, use appropriate anchors. For drywall, locate studs and adjust bracket spacing accordingly.
- Mounting: Secure the brackets to the wall using screws. Ensure the brackets are level.
- Installation: Attach the steel tube to the brackets.
Compatibility
The clothes rail is compatible with most wall types. However, ensure that you use the correct mounting hardware for your wall type (e.g., concrete anchors for concrete walls). When mounting on drywall, ensure the brackets are securely fastened to wall studs for maximum weight capacity.
Care
- Clean the clothes rail with a damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Regularly check the screws for tightness.
