FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the cushion?
The cushion dimensions are: Width 110cm, Seat Depth 47cm, and Thickness 8cm.
Is this cushion suitable for all garden benches?
It is perfectly designed for Alfresia 2-Seater wooden benches, but can be used on other furniture if the dimensions (110cm W x 47cm D) are compatible. We recommend checking your bench measurements before purchasing.
How do I clean the cushion?
The cushion cover can be cleaned with a damp cloth. For more significant cleaning, use mild soap and water, rinse, and allow to air dry completely.
Is the cushion waterproof?
The cushion has a 100% water-resistant polyester shell, which helps protect it from light moisture. However, it is not fully waterproof and should be protected from heavy or prolonged rain and stored dry when not in use.
Where is the cushion manufactured?
Alfresia fills and packs all of its cushions at its factories in Greater Manchester, UK.
What material is the cushion made of?
The cushion has a Polyester Shell and a Luxury Foam Filling.
Can I use this cushion indoors?
Yes, while designed for outdoor use, the cushion's comfort and style make it suitable for indoor benches as well.
Troubleshooting
Cushion does not fit bench perfectly.
Double-check the dimensions of your bench against the cushion specifications (Width: 110cm, Seat Depth: 47cm). If the issue is minor, you may need to adjust the bench or consider a different cushion size. If using on furniture other than an Alfresia 2-Seater bench, measure carefully beforehand.
Cushion appears compressed or flat upon arrival.
The luxury foam filling may be compressed during packaging. Allow the cushion several hours to air out and regain its full loft and shape. Gently patting the cushion can also help.
Cushion becomes damp after light rain.
While the polyester shell is water-resistant, it is not waterproof. Ensure the cushion is not left in prolonged or heavy rain. If it gets damp, remove it from the rain and allow it to air dry completely before use or storage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This cushion requires no assembly. Simply place it on your desired bench or seating furniture. Ensure the cushion lies flat for maximum comfort and stability.
Compatibility:
While specifically designed to fit Alfresia 2-Seater wooden benches, this cushion can be used on other furniture. Key dimensions to check for compatibility are:
- Cushion Width: 110cm
- Seat Depth: 47cm
- Thickness: 8cm
Always measure your furniture and compare it with these dimensions before purchase if you are not using it with an Alfresia 2-Seater bench.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: The 100% polyester shell can be cleaned with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use mild soap and water, then rinse and allow to air dry completely.
- Water Resistance: The cushion is water-resistant, not waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain. For best results and longevity, store indoors or under cover when not in use or during inclement weather.
- Drying: If the cushion becomes wet, ensure it is thoroughly air-dried before use or storage to prevent mildew.
