FAQs

What material are the Aldo Alamassi sandals made of?

The upper is made of synthetic material with a lizard embossing, and the sole is made of Thermo Plastic Rubber.

Are these sandals suitable for wide feet?

The design is a slip-on with a square toe, which generally offers a moderate fit. They may not be ideal for very wide feet.

Can I wear these sandals for a long day of walking?

These sandals are best suited for casual wear and light activity. They lack significant arch support and cushioning, making them less ideal for extended walking.

How do I clean the white lizard print?

Wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals which could damage the finish.

What is the heel height of these sandals?

These are flat sandals with no measurable heel height.

Do these sandals come in other colors?

The Aldo Alamassi style is available in various colors, including black and other white variations, depending on current stock.

Troubleshooting

Slight stiffness upon first wear

Wear the sandals around the house for short periods to allow them to conform to your feet.

Scuff marks on the synthetic upper

Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a specialized synthetic leather cleaner may be used sparingly.

Slippery sole on certain surfaces

Ensure the sole is clean and dry. For added traction, consider adding discreet traction pads to the sole.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Stylish and trendy design with embossed texture.
  • Comfortable for casual wear due to the flat sole.
  • Easy to put on and take off.
  • Versatile white color complements many outfits.
  • Lightweight construction for ease of wear.

Cons

  • Not designed for extensive walking or athletic activities.
  • Synthetic materials may not offer the breathability of natural fibers.

  • Sole material might offer less grip on very smooth surfaces.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: These sandals require no setup; they are ready to wear out of the box.

Compatibility: Suitable for adult women. They pair well with a variety of casual outfits, including dresses, skirts, shorts, and light trousers.

Care:

  • Wipe clean with a dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
  • For tougher marks, use a slightly damp cloth, avoiding excessive moisture.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the synthetic material and the embossed finish.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or material degradation.
