FAQs

What type of playing surface are these boots designed for?

The adidas F50 Pro FG boots are specifically designed for firm ground (FG) pitches, which typically include natural grass fields that are dry and well-maintained.

How do these boots enhance speed and agility?

They achieve this through a combination of a lightweight Fibertouch upper, a dynamic Sprintshell 360 soleplate with rounded studs for quick cuts, and a secure Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue for optimal lockdown and stability.

Are these boots considered lightweight?

Yes, each boot weighs approximately 205 grams, contributing to its lightweight, speed-focused design.

Do these boots use recycled materials?

Yes, these boots are made with at least 20% recycled materials as part of adidas' ongoing efforts to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainability.

How should I clean and care for my F50 Pro FG boots?

For specific care and cleaning instructions, please refer to the product label inside the boot. Generally, clean them after each use with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources.

What is the purpose of the Sprintweb 3D texturing?

The Sprintweb 3D texturing across the upper is designed to enhance ball contact, providing superior grip and precision for dribbling and control at high speeds.

What is the 'Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue'?

It's a feature of the laced closure system that uses strategically placed reinforcement to wrap the foot securely, providing superior lockdown and minimizing irritation for a comfortable, snug fit.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too stiff or uncomfortable.

The Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue provides a secure fit; ensure you have the correct size and allow for a short break-in period during light training sessions to adapt to the fit.

Slipping on the pitch.

These boots are designed specifically for firm ground (FG) pitches. Ensure you are playing on appropriate surfaces. Check the Sprintshell 360 soleplate for any dirt or debris that might be impacting traction, and clean as necessary.

Difficulty controlling the ball at speed.

Ensure your laces are securely tied to maximize the effect of the Sprintweb 3D texturing. Practice with the boots to adapt to their enhanced ball contact properties and maintain close control.

Boots feel too loose or not supportive.

Re-tighten the lace closure, ensuring the Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue is properly aligned and snug around your foot. The external heel counter should provide stable support.
