What is the maximum weight capacity?
The hammock chair has a maximum weight capacity of 150 kg.
Can this chair be used outdoors?
Yes, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, to prolong its lifespan, it's best to protect it from harsh weather elements like heavy rain and prolonged direct sunlight.
What are the dimensions of the seat surface?
The seat surface is approximately 160 cm in width and 130 cm in length.
How do I clean the fabric?
Gently spot clean with a damp cloth. For a more thorough clean, hand wash with mild soap and cold water, then air dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals.
What is the spreader bar made of?
The spreader bar is made of sturdy, FSC®-certified German beech wood.
Is assembly difficult?
Assembly primarily involves securely attaching the chair to your chosen mounting point. No complex tools are typically required, but ensure your mounting method is safe and robust.
Troubleshooting
Chair feels unstable or sways excessively.
Ensure the suspension cords are securely attached to both the spreader bar and the overhead fixing. Check that the fixing point itself is stable and can support the weight. Make sure the spreader bar notches are correctly holding the cords.
Fabric appears stretched or uneven.
This is normal for woven fabric chairs. Allow the fabric to naturally settle around the user. If significant stretching occurs, check for any loose knots or potential damage to the cords.
Wood spreader bar shows signs of wear.
Wipe the bar with a dry cloth. If the wood appears dry, apply a suitable wood conditioner. Protect from prolonged direct moisture.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
To set up your Brasil Hammock Chair, you will need a secure overhead fixing point. This could be a robust tree branch, a ceiling beam rated for significant weight, or a dedicated hammock stand. Ensure the fixing point is stable and can safely support the chair and its occupant (up to 150 kg). Attach the suspension cords securely to the spreader bar and the fixing point using appropriate hardware (not included).
Compatibility:
This hammock chair is compatible with Amazonas stands such as the Atlas, Luna Rockstone, and Palmera Rockstone stands. It is designed for single-person use.
Care:
- Fabric: The woven cotton fabric should be cleaned gently. Use a damp cloth for spot cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and cold water, then air dry completely.
- Wood: The beech wood spreader bar can be wiped clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. To maintain the wood's finish and prevent drying, you can periodically apply a wood conditioner suitable for indoor/outdoor furniture.
- Storage: During prolonged periods of bad weather or when not in use for an extended time, it is recommended to bring the hammock chair indoors or cover it to protect the fabric and wood from moisture and UV damage.
