Product Information
Full details
The Thinking Anglers Scales Pouch is a purpose-built storage solution designed for anglers who use large Reuben Heaton dial scales. It provides robust protection against impact and weather through its padded design and durable 600D fabric construction. While it is highly practical for protecting delicate weighing equipment in the field, it is specifically sized for Reuben Heaton dial models, meaning it may not provide a secure fit for digital scales or significantly smaller weighing devices.

FAQs
Will this fit digital scales?
This pouch is specifically tailored for the dimensions of large Reuben Heaton dial scales and may be too large or offer insufficient security for smaller digital units.
Is the entire bag waterproof?
The base is specifically designed to be waterproof, while the upper 600D fabric is water-resistant, making it ideal for the bankside environment.
How do I clean the exterior?
Use a damp sponge or cloth with warm water. Do not submerge the pouch in a washing machine, as this can degrade the padding and waterproof coating.
Can I use the pouch as a kneeling pad frequently?
Yes, the base is reinforced to withstand regular use as a kneeling pad, though you should avoid placing it on sharp rocks or thorns to preserve the integrity of the material.
Does it have a shoulder strap?
No, this pouch is designed to be stored inside your main carryall or backpack for transport.
Troubleshooting
Zippers sticking or becoming stiff
Clear any grit or dried mud from the zipper teeth using a soft brush and apply a silicone-based zipper lubricant.
Moisture inside the pouch
Ensure the scales are dry before storing and always keep the pouch closed when not in use to prevent condensation buildup.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility: This pouch is engineered specifically for large Reuben Heaton dial scales. Ensure your model fits within the H30cm x W21cm x D6cm dimensions before storing.

Care Instructions:
- Periodically wipe down the waterproof base with a damp cloth to remove dried mud and debris.
