Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Unpack: Remove the boots from their packaging.
- Inspect: Check for any manufacturing defects or damage before first use.
- Try On: Put on the boots with your usual football socks to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Walk around and perform light movements to assess the fit.
- Break-in: New boots, especially those with synthetic uppers, may require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a competitive match to adapt them to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: These boots are designed as Multi-Ground (FG/MG), making them suitable for use on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and relatively dry.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern synthetic turf pitches.
- Age/Gender: These are kids' boots (Unisex).
Care
Maintaining your boots properly will extend their lifespan and performance.
- Clean After Each Use:
- Remove loose dirt and grass clippings from the studs and upper using a soft brush or old toothbrush.
- Wipe down the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the material.
- Rinse (If Necessary): If the boots are very muddy, you can rinse them lightly with water, but avoid soaking them. Do not use a washing machine or dryer.
- Dry Properly:
- Stuff the boots with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators), which can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Store Correctly: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in a sealed bag or damp environment, as this can lead to odor and mildew.
- Inspect Regularly: Periodically check studs for wear and tear, and the upper for any signs of damage. Timely repair can prevent further issues.
