Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Golden Wedding Rose thrives, follow these steps upon delivery:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the packaging and inspect the stems. Ensure the soil is damp.
- Placement: Choose a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for the best blooming results.
- Planting: If moving to a permanent location, dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and ensure the graft union is at soil level.
- Watering: Water the plant regularly, especially during dry spells or if the plant is in a container. Avoid wetting the foliage to prevent fungal issues.
- Seasonal Care: Between September and April, the plant may appear pruned; this is a normal part of the maintenance process to encourage strong growth in the following season. Feed with a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring as new growth appears.
