Mylands Lavender Garden No.30 Marble Matt Emulsion is designed for homeowners and decorators seeking a sophisticated, high-durability finish for interior walls. By incorporating real crushed Carrara marble, this water-based paint offers a unique, luxurious texture that stands up to the rigors of high-traffic living areas like hallways and kitchens. While it provides an exceptional aesthetic and washable surface, users should note that the specific marble-infused composition requires careful application techniques to ensure a consistent, professional-grade finish.

Yes, its durable and washable nature makes it ideal for kitchens, provided the walls are kept reasonably dry.
For optimal depth of color and marble texture, two full coats are recommended.
While technically possible, this paint is specifically formulated for walls where the marble texture can be fully appreciated.
Yes, its low VOC, water-based formulation makes it a safe choice for bedrooms.
Simply wipe the area gently with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive scouring pads.
The grey undertones in Lavender Garden No.30 help the shade remain sophisticated and neutral even in lower light conditions.
Ensure you are using a medium-pile roller and maintaining a 'wet edge' while painting to allow the marble particles to settle evenly.
Ensure the wall is thoroughly cleaned of grease or dust and consider using a high-quality primer if the previous surface was non-porous or very dark.
To achieve a perfect finish, ensure your walls are clean, dry, and free of dust or loose debris before beginning. If applying over existing gloss or high-sheen surfaces, lightly sand the area to improve adhesion. Use high-quality synthetic brushes or rollers suitable for water-based emulsions to ensure even distribution of the marble particles. For care, avoid harsh chemical cleaners; use a soft, damp microfiber cloth to wipe the surface gently. Always store the tin in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly sealed to prevent the paint from drying out prematurely.
