Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the lifespan of your Eagle IV jacket, proper maintenance of the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish is essential. We recommend washing in cold water with a technical outerwear detergent to avoid clogging the breathable pores of the fabric. Always avoid fabric softeners, as these can compromise the waterproof membrane. After washing, low-heat tumble drying or air drying is suggested to reactivate the water-repellent coating. Ensure all zippers and the snowskirt are checked periodically for debris buildup, especially after heavy use in slushy or dirty snow, to maintain smooth operation.
