FAQs
Are these shoes truly waterproof?
Yes, they feature a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane designed to keep water out while allowing sweat to escape.
Do I need to size up?
Yes, the manufacturer recommends sizing up by half a size to ensure a comfortable fit.
Can I use these for road running?
While they are comfortable enough for pavement, the outsole is optimized for trail terrain and will wear down faster on abrasive road surfaces.
How long does the cushioning last?
The FloatPro foam is designed for durability, typically maintaining its performance for several hundred miles of trail use.
Are they suitable for winter hiking?
They provide excellent grip and moisture protection, making them a solid choice for winter trail hiking, though they are technically categorized as trainers.
Troubleshooting
Foot discomfort or tightness
The Agility Peak 6 runs small; if the shoe feels tight, ensure you are wearing thinner technical socks or consider if a half-size larger is needed.
Debris entering the shoe
Ensure the laces are secured firmly, or consider using trail gaiters to prevent dirt and rocks from entering the collar.
Waterproofing appears less effective
GORE-TEX performance can be hampered by dirt build-up on the surface. Clean the exterior of the shoes thoroughly to allow the membrane to breathe and shed water effectively.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best fit, it is recommended to size up by half a size compared to your standard walking shoe size. Because of the technical nature of the GORE-TEX lining, proper care is essential to maintain performance:
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after every run to prevent debris from grinding into the fabric.
- Washing: Avoid machine washing. Use lukewarm water and a gentle brush to clean the exterior. Remove the insoles and let them air dry separately.
- Drying: Never dry your trainers near a direct heat source, such as a radiator, as this can damage the waterproof membrane and the foam midsole.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
