Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Mizuno boots, avoid wearing them on abrasive surfaces like artificial turf that isn't designed for football, as this can degrade the soleplate prematurely.
- Breaking In: Wear the boots during light training sessions for 20-30 minutes before using them in competitive matches to allow the leather to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove loose mud with a soft brush after every game. Wipe the leather with a damp, soft cloth.
- Drying: Always air dry the boots naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and use a shoe tree if available to maintain the structural shape of the heel and collar.
