No, the Regatta Classic Fleece is designed for warmth and is not waterproof. We recommend wearing a waterproof shell over it in rainy conditions.
GSM stands for grams per square meter. A 250gsm weight indicates a medium-to-heavyweight fabric that provides good thermal insulation.
Wash at 30-40 degrees Celsius on a gentle cycle. Avoid fabric softeners as they can coat the fibers and reduce the fleece's breathability and softness.
It is best to air dry the garment. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting, though air drying is highly recommended to protect the material integrity.
The specific item described is a Size Large (L), which typically fits a 41/42-inch chest.
Lightly mist the garment with water or use a static-reduction spray, and ensure you are not drying it in a tumble dryer on high heat.
Clean the teeth of the zipper with a soft brush to remove debris, then apply a tiny amount of dry lubricant or graphite from a pencil to the tracks.
This fleece is a straightforward pull-on garment. For the best performance, pair it with a moisture-wicking base layer to manage perspiration and a waterproof shell if heading into wet conditions. To ensure the longevity of the garment, wash on a cool setting (typically 30-40 degrees Celsius) and avoid fabric softeners, which can degrade the performance of the fleece fibers. Always hang to air dry rather than using a high-heat tumble dryer to prevent shrinking or damage to the synthetic material.
