The jacket is designed for weather resistance, but it is not fully waterproof and should not be used as a primary raincoat in heavy storms.
Yes, its breathable polyester material makes it suitable for outdoor training, though you may need to unzip the front to regulate temperature.
The Monterrain Blanc 2.0 generally fits true to size. Refer to the standard size guide for your chest and sleeve measurements for the best fit.
Yes, the fixed hood is designed to fit close to the head to help block out cold wind.
It is best suited for autumn and early spring temperatures, or mild winter days. For extreme cold, it is recommended to wear it as part of a layered system.
Gently shake the jacket and allow it to hang in a well-ventilated area for several hours to regain its natural loft.
Ensure the zipper track is free from debris; a small amount of graphite lubricant or bar soap can be applied to the teeth to improve smoothness.
To ensure your Monterrain Blanc 2.0 Puffer Jacket remains in peak condition, machine wash it on a gentle, cool cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners as they can degrade the technical properties of the polyester and the internal insulation. Air drying is highly recommended to preserve the shape and loft of the quilting; avoid high-heat tumble drying. When storing, hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger to keep the structure intact and prevent unnecessary compression of the insulating layers. This jacket pairs well with technical baselayers or standard hoodies for varying levels of thermal insulation.
