Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last, it is important to lace them snugly, ensuring the tongue is centered to prevent irritation. Compatibility with various hiking socks is high, though thicker wool socks are recommended for cooler climates. For care, wipe away dirt after every use using a soft brush or damp cloth. If the leather begins to look dull or loses its water-repellent finish, apply a high-quality leather conditioner or specific waterproofing treatment designed for suede and full-grain leather. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators when drying wet boots, as this can cause the leather to crack; instead, air dry them in a well-ventilated area.
