Full details

This Costway Compact Double Black Japanese Futon Floor Mattress is designed for adults seeking a versatile and comfortable portable sleeping solution for camping, dorm rooms, or home use. Its key benefit is providing a supportive, even sleeping surface that can be easily rolled up and stored. A potential caveat is that while comfortable for lounging and occasional sleep, it may not replace a traditional bed for long-term, daily use for all individuals.

FAQs

What are the dimensions of the mattress?

The mattress measures 190cm x 120cm (approximately 75 x 47 inches).

Can the entire mattress be machine washed?

The dustproof cover is machine washable. The mattress itself should be spot cleaned and aired out; it is not designed for full machine washing.

Is this mattress suitable for everyday use as a primary bed?

While comfortable for lounging and occasional sleep, its suitability for daily, long-term use as a primary bed depends on individual comfort preferences and support needs. It is primarily designed as a versatile, portable option.

What is the material of the mattress filling?

The mattress is filled with high-density polyester.

Does it come with the carry bag?

Yes, the mattress includes a handy carry bag for storage and transport.

How do I clean the mattress itself (not the cover)?

For the mattress itself, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Allow it to air dry completely. Avoid soaking the mattress.

What is the weight capacity of the mattress?

The product information does not specify a weight capacity, but it is designed to support adults with its high-density filling.

Troubleshooting

Mattress does not seem to expand fully

Allow the mattress more time to decompress after unrolling. Ensure it is not stored in a tightly compressed state for prolonged periods.

Uneven filling or lumps developing

Gently redistribute the filling by hand. Ensure the mattress is used and stored on a flat surface. The quilting helps prevent this, but occasional manual adjustment might be needed.

Dustproof cover is difficult to remove or reattach

Ensure the mattress is fully rolled or folded to reduce its bulk before attempting to remove or replace the cover.
