Setup
- Choose a flat, clear area to set up your bivvy bag.
- Unpack the bag and spread it out.
- Insert your sleeping mat and sleeping bag inside the bivvy.
- Use the pegging points to secure the bivvy bag to the ground, especially in windy conditions.
- Use the pre-attached guylines to stake out the hood for ventilation and to create more space.
Compatibility
The Robens Mountain Bivvy Bag is designed to be compatible with standard-sized sleeping bags and sleeping mats. Ensure the sleeping bag and mat fit comfortably inside the bag without overstuffing it.
Care
- Cleaning: After use, wipe down the inside and outside of the bivvy bag with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Always ensure the bag is completely dry before storing it to prevent mildew.
- Storage: Store the bag in its storage sack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Maintenance: Regularly check for any tears or damage. Repair small tears with appropriate repair tape or patches.
