Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your SolaDirect tarpaulin, unroll it carefully. Identify the reinforced aluminium eyelets located approximately every metre along the edges. Use appropriate fastening materials such as ropes, bungee cords, or tie-downs to securely attach the eyelets to anchor points. Ensure the tarp is taut to prevent water pooling and to maximize its wind resistance.
Compatibility: This tarpaulin is compatible with standard ropes, bungee cords, and various fastening systems. It can be used to cover a wide range of items including vehicles, outdoor furniture, machinery, tools, camping equipment, and building materials. It is suitable for use on the ground as a protective layer or for overhead covering.
Care: To care for your tarpaulin, clean it regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the waterproof and UV-resistant coatings. Ensure the tarp is completely dry before storing it to prevent mildew and degradation. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and sharp objects. Inspect the eyelets and material periodically for any signs of wear or damage.
