The DMXL sole is an advanced Dr. Martens sole unit that combines lightweight EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) for enhanced cushioning with durable PVC pods for robustness. It features an exaggerated tread for improved grip and is designed to provide XL comfort and ease of movement.

The break-in period can vary for each individual, but typically for quality leather boots like these, it might take a few days to a couple of weeks of intermittent wear for the leather to soften and mold comfortably to your feet.

While the Lunar and Rubber Grain leather offers some natural resistance to moisture, these boots are not fully waterproof unless specifically treated. For enhanced water protection, we recommend applying a suitable leather protector spray.

To clean, gently wipe the boots with a clean, damp cloth to remove dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized leather cleaner according to its instructions. Afterward, always condition the leather to keep it supple.

The Soft Wair insole is integrated for optimal comfort. While it is possible to add an additional thin insole on top for personalized arch support or cushioning, removing the original insole is not recommended as it is part of the boot's comfort design.

Dr. Martens generally run true to size, but fit can vary. We recommend consulting the brand's sizing chart. If you are between sizes, it's often advised to try the larger size or consult a Dr. Martens retailer for a fitting.
