The Blenheim English Hackamore is designed to provide a bitless bridle option for communication with a horse, applying pressure to the nose and poll.

How is the hackamore different from a bit?

Unlike a bit, which applies pressure inside the horse's mouth, the hackamore works by applying pressure to the nose and poll.

No, while suitable for many horses, individual responses vary. It is essential to monitor the horse's comfort and behavior.

How should I clean the Blenheim English Hackamore?

Clean the hackamore regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat.

What should I check when fitting the hackamore?

Ensure the noseband sits correctly, above the sensitive nasal bones, and check the cheek piece length to avoid interference.

Where should I store the hackamore when not in use?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Fitting: Ensure the noseband sits correctly, above the sensitive nasal bones. Check the cheek piece length to ensure it does not interfere with the horse's eyes or jaw.
Adjustment: Adjust the straps to provide a snug but comfortable fit. The hackamore should not slide or move excessively.
Compatibility: Suitable for most horses, but individual responses vary. Monitor your horse's comfort and behavior when first using the hackamore. Check that the hackamore fits with any other equipment you are using, such as a breastplate or martingale.
Care: Clean the hackamore regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Check for wear and tear, especially on the straps, and replace if necessary.
