Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
This coat requires no complex setup. Simply unpack, hang to remove any temporary creases from packaging, and it's ready to wear. If the faux fur appears flattened, gently fluff it by hand.
Compatibility
- Layering: Designed to be worn over everyday clothing such as sweaters, blouses, or light jackets. Its medium fit allows for comfortable layering without feeling overly restrictive.
- Seasonal Use: Best suited for autumn and winter months, providing warmth in cold conditions. For extremely low temperatures, additional thermal layering underneath is recommended.
Product Care
Proper care will help maintain the coat's quality, warmth, and appearance. Follow these guidelines:
- Washing: The coat is `machine washable`. Use a gentle cycle with cold water to protect the fabric and quilting.
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can damage the polyester and faux fur.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry on high heat. Air dry by laying flat or hanging on a padded hanger to maintain the coat's shape and prevent damage to the quilting and faux fur. If machine drying, use a low heat or air-only cycle, preferably with dryer balls to help fluff the insulation.
- Ironing: Do not iron. Polyester is prone to melting at high temperatures. If creases appear, use a steamer on a low setting or hang in a steamy bathroom.
- Faux Fur Care: To keep the faux fur hood looking its best, gently comb or brush it with a soft brush after washing and drying. Avoid direct heat on the faux fur.
- Storage: Store the coat on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place to maintain its shape and prevent compression of the quilting.
