Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure laces are securely tied to provide a snug fit without being overly tight. The PRIMEKNIT collar will provide initial support.
- Stud Check: Before each use, inspect all screw-in studs to ensure they are tight and free from damage. Loose studs can affect traction and potentially cause injury.
Compatibility
These boots are exclusively designed for soft ground (SG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are wet, muddy, or have a significant amount of give. They are not recommended for:
- Firm Ground (FG)
- Artificial Grass (AG)
- Indoor (IC) surfaces
Using them on incompatible surfaces can lead to accelerated wear, damage to the studs or soleplate, and poor performance, potentially voiding any warranty.
Care
Proper care will extend the life of your Predator Elite boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. Pay special attention to cleaning between the studs. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly check screw-in studs for wear and tightness. Replace any worn or damaged studs promptly using a stud key.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, which can damage materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Product Instructions: Always refer to the specific care instructions provided with your product for detailed guidelines.
