This Karen Millen maxi dress is designed for women seeking a sophisticated yet playful ensemble for formal events such as weddings, galas, and black-tie occasions. Featuring a striking polka dot pattern and a dramatic tiered tulle skirt, the dress offers a flattering silhouette that emphasizes movement and elegance; however, due to the delicate tulle material and floor-sweeping length, it requires careful handling and professional maintenance to keep the fabric in pristine condition.

No, this garment features delicate tulle layers and structured construction that require professional dry cleaning only.
Due to the off-the-shoulder neckline, a strapless, supportive bra or a seamless corset-style undergarment is recommended for the best silhouette.
The off-the-shoulder design is intended to sit across the arms; it does not feature adjustable straps, so ensure the bodice fits snugly during fitting.
Avoid wearing rough jewelry, such as bracelets with sharp edges, and be cautious of surfaces that may pull at the delicate tiered layers.
Store hanging in a cool, dry place inside a garment bag, ensuring the tulle has enough space to hang naturally without being compressed.
Gently steam the layers from at least 6 inches away using a garment steamer on the lowest setting.
Do not pull the thread. Use small, sharp embroidery scissors to carefully trim the snag flush with the surrounding fabric.
Consult a professional tailor to adjust the side seams; avoid DIY pinning to prevent permanent damage to the delicate material.
To ensure your dress remains in peak condition, store it in a breathable garment bag, preferably hanging it by the internal garment loops rather than the shoulder straps to avoid stretching the tulle. Given the complexity of the tiered layers, this garment should be professionally dry-cleaned to protect the structural integrity of the tulle and the finish of the fabric. If the tulle layers become slightly wrinkled during transit, use a low-heat garment steamer from a safe distance, but never apply a traditional iron directly to the tulle as it may melt or scorch the synthetic fibers.
