These shoes are designed for trail running. While they can be worn on pavement for short distances, the aggressive lugs may wear down more quickly than on a dedicated road shoe.

Ensure you have selected the correct size. Try wearing them with different types of running socks. The materials may also need a short break-in period.

Check the outsole for embedded debris or wear. Clean the lugs thoroughly. The grip is optimized for trail surfaces; performance on wet, smooth surfaces like pavement may differ.

Ensure the laces are tied securely and the gusseted tongue is positioned correctly. For very dusty or sandy conditions, consider using gaiters.

Gently clean the knit upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Allow to air dry completely.
