Designed for the sophisticated adult woman, the Karen Millen Blurred Orchid Prom Skirt serves as an artistic statement piece perfect for formal events, weddings, and garden parties. This garment features a striking painterly orchid print on woven twill with a voluminous A-line silhouette, offering a refined and high-fashion aesthetic. While its structured design provides an elegant look, potential buyers should note that the delicate silk material and full shape require careful handling and storage to maintain the integrity of the pleats.

The skirt measures approximately 95cm in length, which is considered a midi-length silhouette.
No, the waistband is a fixed, smooth-fitted design intended to define the waistline.
Due to the silk content and the structural pleats, professional dry cleaning is the recommended care method.
While it is designed for occasion wear, it can be styled down with simpler tops, though it remains a statement piece best suited for semi-formal to formal events.
Yes, it is fully lined to provide a refined finish and ensure comfortable wear throughout the day or evening.
Strappy heeled sandals or pointed-toe heels are recommended to elongate the leg and complement the voluminous A-line shape.
Use a professional garment steamer on the lowest heat setting, keeping the nozzle several inches away from the silk fabric.
Take the garment to a professional dry cleaner to have the pleats professionally pressed and set.
Because this skirt is made from delicate materials and features structured pleats, proper maintenance is essential. Always check the garment label for specific cleaning instructions; generally, professional dry cleaning is recommended for silk-based woven twills to preserve the fabric's luster and the structure of the box pleats. When storing, it is best to hang the skirt using garment clips on the waistband to keep the pleats hanging naturally, avoiding tight storage spaces that might crush the volume. Avoid ironing directly on the print to prevent heat damage; if steaming is necessary to remove light wrinkles, use a garment steamer on a low, delicate setting from a safe distance.
