Assembly is generally straightforward with basic household tools (Phillips head screwdriver). The product comes with detailed instructions. It is highly recommended to have a second person assist during certain steps for easier and safer assembly.

For routine cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. For smudges or fingerprints, a small amount of mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner can be applied to the cloth (not directly to the furniture). Wipe dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth to maintain the shine.

The chest features high gloss grey-finished drawers with a contrasting matt frame, both constructed from high-quality engineered wood products, coated with a durable and scratch-resistant melamine finish.

Each drawer has an internal depth of 10cm. The other internal dimensions will be slightly less than the overall width (114cm) and depth (40cm) of the unit, accounting for the frame and drawer runner mechanisms. Modifying the original finish, especially the high gloss and melamine coating, is not recommended as it can compromise the durability and aesthetic, potentially voiding any warranty. The surfaces are designed for easy cleaning and are not typically suitable for painting over without extensive preparation.

First, ensure the chest is on a level surface. Check that all drawer runners are correctly installed and aligned. Verify that all screws holding the runners are tight. Apply a small amount of silicone-based furniture lubricant or wax to the drawer runners for smoother operation. Ensure drawers are not overloaded.

Confirm that the chest is placed on a flat, level floor. Re-tighten all assembly screws and cam locks, paying close attention to the connections between the frame and the top/bottom panels. Ensure all dowels are fully inserted. If provided, make sure the anti-tip kit is securely installed and anchored to the wall as per instructions.

While the melamine coating is scratch-resistant, it is not scratch-proof. Minor surface marks might occur from abrasive contact. For light marks, try a furniture polish designed for high-gloss surfaces. For deeper scratches, professional repair or touch-up might be necessary. Always use soft cloths for cleaning and avoid dragging items across the surface.
