The New Balance 740 Kids Trainers are designed for active children who need a reliable, stylish daily shoe inspired by 2000s performance running gear. These trainers offer a perfect balance of comfort and durability for school and play, featuring an open knit mesh upper and a supportive, segmented midsole. While they excel in everyday wear, parents should note that the light grey and pink color palette may require more frequent cleaning when used in muddy or high-dust outdoor environments.

We recommend measuring your child's feet in the afternoon when they are at their largest and consulting a standard UK size chart.
No, heat can damage the adhesives and synthetic materials; always air dry at room temperature.
The upper is constructed from an open knit mesh combined with angular synthetic overlays.
Yes, the New Balance 740 series is designed as a unisex trainer suitable for all children.
Loosen the lacing system starting from the eyelets closest to the toes to alleviate pressure.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning foam and a soft brush, working in gentle circles, then wipe clean with a dry cloth.
Because these trainers come with standard laces, ensure they are adjusted properly to prevent tripping and provide a secure fit during high-activity play. To keep the 740 looking fresh, avoid putting them in the washing machine, as the heat and agitation can damage the mesh and overlays. Instead, use a soft-bristled brush or a cloth dampened with mild soap to wipe away dirt. Always air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources, like radiators, to prevent warping the midsole foam.
