Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Alaïa flats maintain their form, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can fade the leather over time. When lacing the flats, ensure the ribbons are not twisted to prevent premature wear on the fabric. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air dry naturally away from heat sources. For cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe down the leather sections; avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the finish.
