These boots are optimized for firm ground (natural grass). Using them on high-abrasion artificial surfaces may reduce the lifespan of the studs.
The Mercurial Superfly XI Elite features a snug, performance-oriented fit. If you prefer a slightly roomier feel, consider the specific sizing provided for your UK foot size.
No. Machine washing can damage the adhesive and the structural integrity of the boot. Always clean by hand with a soft cloth.
Use a gentle soap solution and a soft cloth for surface dirt, then wipe with clean water and air dry naturally.
The primary benefit is speed; the boots are engineered for lightweight performance, lockdown, and high-traction responsiveness.
The performance fit of the Mercurial range often requires a short break-in period; wear them during light training sessions to allow the material to mold to your foot shape.
Use a specialized boot brush or plastic scraper after every game to maintain the specific grip profile of the soleplate.
To ensure the longevity of your Mercurial boots, always remove mud and debris after each session using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid soaking the boots, as excess moisture can damage the internal materials. Regarding compatibility, these boots are intended specifically for firm ground (FG) natural grass pitches; using them on artificial turf or concrete can lead to premature stud wear and decreased performance. When storing, keep them in a dry, ventilated area away from direct heat sources to prevent the materials from hardening or cracking.
