No, the Catherine Lansfield Heat Buddy uses a passive thermal foil layer to reflect your own body heat back to you, requiring no electrical components.
Yes, with dimensions of 200cm x 220cm, it provides suitable coverage for king-size beds.
The product is designed to be soft and quiet, with the foil layer integrated discreetly to ensure it remains comfortable and silent during use.
Check the specific care label attached to the product, but generally, use a gentle cycle with mild detergent and avoid high-heat drying.
Yes, this thermal blanket is also available in Blue, Purple, and Beige variants.
Ensure the blanket is being used with the sherpa side facing the body and that it is not bunched up, as smooth contact allows the thermal layer to trap heat more effectively.
Shake the blanket out gently in a well-ventilated area to remove loose fibers and wash on a cold, delicate cycle to reduce mechanical stress on the fabric.
To get the most out of your Heat Buddy blanket, ensure it is spread flat over your existing bedding or seating area to allow the thermal properties to function effectively. Because of the internal foil layer, it is recommended to follow the care label strictly regarding washing and drying temperatures to avoid damaging the integrity of the heat-retaining materials. Always opt for a gentle wash cycle and avoid high-heat tumble drying or ironing, as extreme heat can compromise the reflective foil structure.
