FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for long-distance walking?
While they are comfortable for daily wear, they lack high-level arch support, so they may not be the best choice for extensive long-distance walking.
Can I wash my Vans Slip-Ons in the washing machine?
It is not recommended, as the agitation and heat can damage the adhesives and cause the canvas to lose its shape.
Do these shoes come in half sizes?
Yes, they are available in various sizes, including half sizes, to help you find the most precise fit.
How do I know if the fit is correct?
The heel should not slip out significantly when walking; if it does, you may need a smaller size or a different width.
Are these shoes unisex?
The design is often considered unisex, though sizes are typically listed by specific gender categories.
Troubleshooting
The shoe feels too tight across the instep
Wear them with thin socks initially to allow the canvas and elastic side gussets to stretch naturally to your foot shape.
Rubber sole is losing traction
Wipe the bottom of the soles with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust or debris that can cause sliding.
Canvas is getting dirty quickly
Apply a fabric-safe water and stain repellent spray after cleaning to provide a protective barrier.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Vans Slip-Ons last, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: The shoes should feel snug but not restrictive. Since there are no laces, the elastic side gores provide the necessary tension to keep them on your feet.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the canvas. For tougher stains, use a mild soap and cold water solution with a cloth. Avoid machine washing, as this can degrade the glue and structural integrity.
- Drying: Always air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the rubber.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry area when not in use to prevent material fading or odor buildup.
