FAQs

Are these slippers machine washable?

No, these are made of suede and faux shearling and should never be machine washed. Spot clean only.

Can I wear these outside?

Yes, they feature a durable TPR outsole suitable for light outdoor use, such as a patio or quick errands.

How does the sizing run?

These are designed for a standard UK fit. If you prefer to wear very thick socks, you may want to consider this when selecting your size.

Is the faux shearling removable?

No, the faux shearling lining is integrated into the design for optimal warmth and comfort.

Will the suede get damaged if it gets wet?

Suede is highly absorbent. If it gets wet, blot it gently with a dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.

Troubleshooting

Suede looks slightly flattened or dull after use

Use a soft suede brush to gently stroke the fibres in one direction to restore the nap and texture.

Stubborn surface stains on the suede

Use a specialized suede eraser to gently buff the area. Do not use water or liquid cleaners.

Insole feeling compressed over time

Memory foam may compress with heavy use. Allow the shoes to air out for 24 hours between wears to help the foam recover its shape.

  • Requires protective spray to maintain appearance
  • Not suitable for heavy-duty outdoor terrain

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These mules are ready to wear straight out of the box with no break-in period required due to the flexible nature of the materials. To ensure the longevity of your Hush Puppies Blanche Mules, follow these care steps:

  1. Protective Spray: Apply a suede-specific water and stain repellent spray before the first use.
  2. Dry Cleaning: Use a dedicated suede brush to gently remove dust, dirt, or debris from the surface.
  3. Moisture Prevention: Avoid wearing these in rain or snowy conditions, as moisture can damage the suede texture.
  4. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can fade the beige colour over time.
  5. Cleaning: Do not submerge in water or place in a washing machine; spot clean stains gently with a suede eraser.
