FAQs
What are the dimensions of the sample?
The sample size is approximately 30cm (Height) x 50cm (Width).
Can this wallpaper be used in a bathroom?
While the wallpaper is washable, it is best suited for rooms with low humidity. Excessive moisture and steam in bathrooms may affect its longevity and adhesion. Use with caution and ensure good ventilation.
How do I clean this wallpaper?
The wallpaper is washable. Use a damp sponge or cloth with a mild soap solution for cleaning. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
Does the 'free pattern match' mean no pattern alignment is needed at all?
A 'free pattern match' means that adjacent strips do not need to align a specific part of the pattern to create a continuous design. However, you still need to hang the strips next to each other smoothly and plumb.
What is the best way to hang this wallpaper for a small room?
For small rooms, hanging the wallpaper vertically is generally recommended. This can help to draw the eye upwards, creating an illusion of greater height and making the space feel larger.
Can I hang this wallpaper horizontally?
Yes, this versatile design can be hung either vertically or horizontally to suit your desired aesthetic and to visually alter the perception of space.
What other colours are available in this stripe design?
This Stylish Stripe Wallpaper is also available in Blue and Sage Green, under different product codes.
Troubleshooting
Bubbles or seams lifting after application
Gently press down on the affected area with a seam roller or a clean cloth while the adhesive is still wet. If dry, carefully lift the edge and reapply adhesive, then smooth out.
Visible pattern mismatch (despite free match)
Ensure you are using the correct orientation (vertical or horizontal) as intended for the overall design. Double-check that strips are hung plumb and adjacent strips are butted together correctly.
Difficulty cleaning marks
Use a clean, damp cloth with a very mild soap solution. Wipe gently and dry with a separate clean cloth. Avoid scrubbing.
