The Kartell Componibili New Big Cabinet is an updated version of Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s classic ...The Kartell Componibili New Big Cabinet is an updated version of Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s classic 1969 design, presented here in the larger 42cm diameter format. This version introduces a new industrial print finish that enhances both the surface quality and visual depth of the iconic round storage unit. Available with either two or three doors, the cabinet is offered as a fixed, non-disassemblable structure, meaning the modules cannot be separated or reconfigured. It is suitable for use as bedside storage, bathroom furniture or flexible household storage, and can be fitted with optional wheels to allow easy movement when required. Componibili New Big Cabinets are available in Bordeaux, Dove Grey, Orange, Petroleum, Green and White. The combination of increased scale, updated finish and original functional design makes it a practical storage solution for modern interiors. Dimensions: Ø 42 x H 61.5 cm. Created by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in 1968, the Componibili has become a modern furniture legend. Now Kartell has reinvented it in a New Big version, sublimated in an enlarged, refined format that retains the visionary spirit of the original model. Its round lines and glossy ABS exude timeless elegance. Its two drawers with sliding doors combine simplicity and ingenuity. Practical and sturdy, this side table can be used as a bedside table, sofa end or bathroom storage unit. Lightweight and modular, it can be used in any room of the house. A set of Casters, sold separately, reinforces its nomadic and functional spirit. The Componibili is part of a pivotal moment in the history of design: the end of the 60s, when Italy established itself as a laboratory of innovation and creativity. Anna Castelli Ferrieri, architect and pioneer of industrial design, imagined a piece of furniture designed for a society in the throes of change, eager for practicality and modernity. The use of Plastic, revolutionary at the time, reflected the desire to democratize design while asserting a radically new aesthetic. More than fifty years later, the Componibili retains its visionary aura and remains an essential reference, celebrated in the world's greatest museums. To acquire the Componibili New Big is to invite into your daily life a piece of design history, combining prestige, practicality and timelessness. An aesthetic and cultural choice that transcends the simple notion of furniture.
