FAQs

Is this top suitable for machine washing?

Due to the internal boning and delicate satin fabric, professional dry cleaning is recommended to avoid permanent structural damage.

Does the top come in other sizes?

Yes, this style is available in a range of UK sizes from 6 through 18, catering to various body types.

Can I wear a standard bra with this?

The off-the-shoulder design works best with a strapless or convertible bra to maintain the clean line of the bardot neckline.

What is the fit type?

The top is designed as a close-fitting piece, with specific variants offering either a regular or slim-fit profile.

Is the material stretchy?

The bodice is structured and tailored rather than stretchy, relying on its internal construction and fit to provide shape.

Troubleshooting

Visible creasing upon removal from storage

Use a low-temperature garment steamer from a distance to gently release wrinkles without damaging the satin sheen.

Bodice feels tight during movement

Verify that the garment is positioned correctly on the torso; ensure the side seams align with the natural curves of the waist for maximum comfort.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated, high-end aesthetic suitable for formal events
Internal boning offers excellent shape and supportive structure
High-quality satin fabric provides a subtle, light-catching sheen
Versatile pairing options with midi skirts or tailored trousers

Cons

Close-fitting design may feel restrictive to some users
Requires dry cleaning or delicate handling due to satin material
Strict fit requires precise sizing to match the body contour

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this garment uses structured tailoring and delicate satin, proper care is essential to maintain its shape and finish. Always refer to the internal care label for specific washing instructions, but generally, this item requires dry cleaning to preserve the integrity of the boning and the finish of the fabric. To keep the top in optimal condition, hang it on a shaped hanger to prevent creases in the bodice seam detailing. When styling, ensure you choose undergarments that complement the bardot neckline to maintain the intended silhouette.
