Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your rash guard lasts for many seasons, follow these care instructions:
- Rinse Immediately: Always rinse the garment with fresh, cold water after use in salt water or chlorinated swimming pools to remove mineral and chemical residues.
- Avoid Heat: Do not iron or tumble dry the garment. The nylon fabric is sensitive to high heat, which can damage the UV protective fibers.
- Drip Dry: Hang the guard in a shaded area away from direct sunlight to air dry. Continuous direct sunlight can degrade the fabric's protective qualities over time.
- Gentle Cleaning: If washing with detergent, use a mild, chemical-free soap. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as these can strip the fabric of its performance properties.
