While the leather offers some natural water resistance, they are not classified as fully waterproof boots.
Yes, the OrthoLite footbed is removable, allowing you to replace it with custom orthotics if needed.
You can spot clean the lining with a soft brush or a mild detergent and water solution, then allow it to air dry.
They are designed to fit true to standard sizing, though the snug nature of Chelsea boots may require a break-in period.
They are suitable for mild winter conditions, but the rubber sole is designed primarily for city traction rather than deep snow.
It is recommended to condition the leather every 3 to 6 months depending on how frequently the boots are worn.
Ensure the heel tab is being used for leverage and consider using a shoehorn during the break-in period.
This often occurs if moisture is trapped inside; remove the footbeds to allow the interior to dry completely.
Use a matching black leather cream or wax polish to buff out minor surface scuffs and restore color.
Because these are pull-on boots, there is no technical setup required. To ensure optimal fit, wear the socks you intend to use most often during the initial try-on. To care for your boots, wipe away dirt with a damp cloth after each use. Periodically treat the leather with a leather conditioner to prevent cracking and keep the material supple. Avoid storing the boots in direct sunlight or extreme heat, as this can damage the leather finish and affect the integrity of the footbed adhesive.
