The hood on the Marusse model is typically fixed to the jacket to ensure maximum wind and weather protection.
No, it is highly recommended to have the jacket professionally dry cleaned to preserve the specific properties of the nylon laqué fabric.
Store it in a breathable garment bag on a padded hanger in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup and fabric degradation.
The exterior is crafted from Moncler's signature nylon laqué, which is known for its glossy finish and lightweight nature.
It is water-resistant, meaning it can handle light rain or snow, but it is not intended for heavy, prolonged exposure to wet weather.
Small amounts of shedding are normal for down garments. Gently pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside if possible, or use a soft brush to remove it from the surface.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the track. You can gently rub a graphite pencil lead along the teeth to lubricate the mechanism if it continues to stick.
To ensure the longevity of your Moncler Marusse jacket, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended, as the delicate nylon laqué material can be easily damaged by standard home laundry machines. When storing, always use a wide, padded hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders and ensure the garment is kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To prevent the down from clumping, avoid keeping the jacket compressed in a storage bag for extended periods. If caught in heavy rain, allow the jacket to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources such as radiators or heaters.
