FAQs
What type of surface are these boots designed for?
These boots feature a TF (Turf) outsole, making them ideal for use on artificial grass and older AstroTurf pitches.
How do I ensure the best fit with the foldover tongue?
Lace the boots securely, then fold the tongue over and use its integrated strap to keep it in place. Experiment with tightness to find what feels most comfortable and secure for your game.
Are these boots suitable for professional matches?
The Predator League Tongue TF is designed for performance on turf and is endorsed by professional players. Their suitability depends on league regulations regarding footwear for specific pitch types.
Can I use these boots on indoor courts?
No, the rubber TF outsole is not designed for indoor courts. Using them indoors can lead to reduced traction and potential damage to the court surface and the boots.
How durable is the HybridFeel upper?
The HybridFeel upper is engineered for a balance of lightweight comfort and durability. Its synthetic nature provides resilience, while the Strikescale elements are designed to withstand regular play.
Do these boots come in other colors?
Yes, the adidas Predator League series is available in various colorways. Please check the product listings for available options.
What is the purpose of the Strikescale grip elements?
The Strikescale grip elements are strategically placed textures on the upper that enhance friction with the ball, leading to improved control, precision passing, and more accurate shooting.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable.
Loosen the laces and adjust the foldover tongue. Wear them for short periods initially to break them in. Ensure you have selected the correct size based on your foot measurement.
Traction is poor on the turf.
Ensure the rubber outsole is clean and free from mud or debris. The TF outsole is designed for artificial turf; performance may vary on different types of artificial surfaces.
Tongue slips during play.
Ensure the foldover tongue strap is secured properly. If the issue persists, check if the lacing is tight enough through the upper eyelets, which can help hold the tongue in place.
Materials feel stiff.
The HybridFeel upper is designed for support. Wear the boots for a few sessions to allow them to mold to your foot's shape. Avoid artificial heat for softening.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These football boots are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure they are laced securely using the traditional lace closure for a personalized fit. The foldover tongue should be positioned comfortably and secured with its strap.
Compatibility: The Rubber outsole is specifically designed for artificial grass (TF) surfaces. They are not recommended for firm ground (FG), hard ground (HG), or indoor (IN) courts as performance and durability may be compromised.
Care:
- Cleaning: After use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush or a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a breathable shoe bag, away from direct sunlight.
